What ToolHandle Is
ToolHandle is an independent hand-tools research and review site built for DIYers, tradespeople, and anyone who wants to buy the right tool without wading through marketing copy. We cover 3,038 products across 12 sections including wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, knives, clamps, chisels, and more. Every product in our index passed a minimum quality bar based on verified buyer demand, review count, and a 3.8-star rating floor.
How We Work
Our team researches tools using published specifications, owner review patterns, and real sales data. We do not receive free products and we do not conduct lab tests. Our rankings are driven by buyer demand signals (units purchased, review volume) combined with a close read of the specs: material (chrome vanadium, drop-forged steel, alloy), handle construction, finish, dimensions, drive size, and piece count. When the data points one way and marketing copy points another, we go with the data.
Who We Are
ToolHandle is operated by a small editorial team with backgrounds in product research and consumer publishing. We are not affiliated with any tool manufacturer or retailer. Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions on purchases made through our links, which does not change our rankings or recommendations. For questions, reach us at [email protected].
